This year the AVP pro tour has decided to give the fans a little
taste of summer in the winter. Starting on January 10,2008
the tour will begin serving up somehot nights in places
like Oklahoma city,Minneapolis, and Trenton NJ.
Due to the high demand in popularity and the expanded TV coverage,
volleyball is becoming a main stream sport. Although it still
isn't on the level of basketball,soccer, and tennis it has
it's own special niche. I've seen a spike in popularity when
snowboarding was in the Olympics a few years ago. Due
to the fact that the 2008 Olympics is around the corner
and there is an abundance of quality U.S. and International players
competing for the gold in Beijing, volleyball will be on
