Oakley Rocks Manhattan......

Well I have to say my venture to get to the Oakley launch of it's
latest HDO goggles was adventurous to say the least. I contacted
Ryan who was in Chile on assignment. He requested I contact
Mr. Quigley who directed me to Megan. After finally securing
press credentials it was well worth the numerous calls.
Do to the fact that I had to drive up I-95 in pouring down rain,
I made it to SOHO just when the band (Much Trouble) was rapping
it up. It was all good, because the party was just beginning, and
most hip-hop heads such as Tanner Hall and his crew were ready
to hear some Biggie Smalls anyway. Hey why come all the way
to the belly of the beast and not hear some hiphop, reggae,
and R&B.
The DJ rocked the house, and before you knew it Kats were
on the dance floor break dancing like it was the 80's. Just like
back in the day, people gathered in a circle and one dude after
another proceeded to the middle of the circle to show their skills.
I was a little suprised by the skill levels of some of these white
dudes, but it's was all good and the crowd was loving it.
I didn't see to many of the A-list snowboarders, but the ski
group was in the house representing and it's always good to
see a down to earth dude such as Tanner Hall. He
definitely keeps it real on and off the slopes.
Oakley did it up Big Willy style............
Let's see if the U.S. Open can bring back some hip-hop flava.
It's been falling off with the chilled vibe the past few years. It's
still one of the best event to go to, if your a true die-hard
snowboarder.
